Principles of Spelling


TITLE

The article should include both an English and a Turkish title. Titles should be in 12-point font (Bold, Times New Roman).

AUTHOR(S) INFORMATION

Author names should be provided as follows. Author information should not be placed in footnotes or header/footer sections.
For example:
Author Name Surname
Author Title, Institution, Faculty or Vocational School Name, Department Name, Email Address, City/Country, ORCID code

ARTICLE TYPE: (Research Articles, Review Articles, Letter to the Editor, Technical Note)

ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS

Original articles should have an abstract in Turkish (Summary) and English (Abstract) consisting of at least 150 and at most 300 words.
Under the abstract, 3-5 keywords in Turkish (Anahtar Kelimeler) and English (Keywords) should be provided.

PAGE LAYOUT

The page layout should be structured according to the following specifications:
Paper Size: A4 Portrait (Landscape pages should not be included in the article)
Top Margin: 2 cm
Bottom Margin: 2 cm
Left Margin: 2 cm
Right Margin: 2 cm
Font: Times New Roman (Justified)
Font Size: 12 for the title and body text, 10/12 for abstracts, and 8 for footnotes
Paragraph Spacing: Before 6 pt – After 6 pt, Abstracts: Before 6 pt – After 6 pt
Line Spacing: Single
Please do not add page numbers to the work.

HEADING NUMERATION

Main headings should be numbered starting from the INTRODUCTION section.
Main headings should be written in ALL CAPS, and subheadings should be written with only the first letter capitalized.
For example:

  1. INTRODUCTION

  2. CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

  3. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSIONS
    3.1. Demographic Findings

  4. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

REFERENCES

IN-TEXT CITATION STYLE

For in-text citations, the format (Author's Last Name, Year: Page Number) or (Author's Last Name, Year) should be used. Footnotes for citations should not be used.

REFERENCES

References can be cited using either the APA or MLA citation style, depending on the author's preference.
At the end of the paper, a list of all cited sources should be provided under the heading REFERENCES. The list should be in alphabetical order by the authors' last names.
